A Few Errors Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

I get this error when I click on web spiders under\ system tools and then click on spider sites.\ \ "Software error:\ Can't locate HTML/SimpleLinkExtor.pm in @INC (@INC\ contains: /home/mjz55/public_html/cgi-bin/dir .\ /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6\ /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/i686-linux\ /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6\ /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0\ /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at spider.cgi line 88.\ BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at spider.cgi line\ 88.\ \ For help, please send mail to the webmaster\ (webmaster@zber.net), giving this error message and\ the time and date of the error. "\ \ ALSO,\ on my main page, when you click on "Tips" you get a\ page not found error, same as news and stocks, etc.

ask your hosting to install perl module HTML::SimpleLinkExtor

Thank you, the spider thingy now works. The stocks, tips, etc pages still come up not found. Is this a seperate problem?

The same as above, ask them to install perl module Finance::Quote, the best is to run testserver.cgi and ask them to install all perl modules that are not installed.

This is what the hosting company sent me...\ \ "I have checked the script, along with HTML::SimpleLinkExtor module some \ additional modules were needed. I have installed those modules, the \ errors you were getting are no more. But the problems it gives now is due \ to some scripting inadequecies, \ "http://zber.net/cgi-bin/dir/finance.cgi" you will have to check the \ script with the script developer."
