if they do not choose "front page featured" when placing the ad, they can not go back and "modify" the ad, and chose front page featured, and add a frontpage photo. it will take the the title in the modification, but not the photo.

deleting/removing boxes

What boxes you are taking about? Please be specific. Edit the Post ad templates and you can remove anything

except the title and description. Also you can disable the custom fields enabled by default in the admin

custom field manager.

deleting/removing boxes

i want to delete some items on the "place ad" page. i can find the text and delete that, but i can't find the boxes. where are the boxes located, so i can delete them also ? thanks bob

when the owner of the ad, edits/modifies, and chooses Front Page Featured, they cannot add a photo to the Front Page. the Title will appear on the Front Page, but not the photo. is that something that can be changed, or is that just the way it is ? thanks bob

i tried the "max 400" on the title, as a test. the ad appears on the frontpage, but when you try to view the ad you get a "FORBIDDEN" box. when the editor of the ad trys to edit the ad you get a "FORBIDDEN" BOX. the only way i could get the ad removed was going to the ads manager and removing it there. i want the Title entries/keystrokes reduced to thirty-nine. when i do that in the listings options, it also reduces the Description to thirty-nine ? i didn't change description from the twenty-five thousand that you have there. i changed the Title amount again to three hundred, and yes, it changed the Description amount allowed to three hundred? how can i change the Title size without changing the Description size ? thanks bob

If you changed the thumbnails size in the admin, then these changes will start working on the new items that

will be submitted from this moment. It will not effect the items already submited because images and

thumbnails already created.

how can i enlarge the photos on the homepage ? i've tried changing the number of columns and resizing the thumbnails, but none of those have changed the size of the photos. i would like them enlarged somewhat. i have an index.html underconstruction page set up, but you can still view what i've done so far at boatadsfree.com/classified thanks bob

You can edit/modify the ads as you like as the ads owner. You need to be the ad owner to edit the ads.

You will see on the View Ad Page under Author Tools links for that:

The options in the admin center is self explained and all values have default either numerical or text/string that you can modify.

The best thing you do is change one by one that you need and see your changes on the user side.
