Go into the Admin Language Manager an then select #12-Categories. When the list of categories comes up select the category that you want to add an Icon infront of, Books for instance. Where it says Books in the box paste this code in front of it.
Where you see Icon-Books.gif in the code replace it with the name of your file that you have stored in your images directory. You'll need to find a good image reducer to get all your Icons the same or nearly the same size or they will look uneven
