adding a new page Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

Hi\ \ I want to add a page to hold links to other sites.\ \ I have found in the forum that I can go to the template editor and create a custom page and I did Links.page.shtml (I hope thats not to many dots?) \ \ I have also found in language manager a file called Links but the notes that appeared after the initial creation said:\ \ Edit the language files Links.page.pm from the Language Manager for each language. Also edit the template file Links.page.shtml from the template editor for each them. To insert a link in your templates for this page, insert the class http://www.mewsoft.com/forums/action=GetPage&Name=Links in your templates.\ \ So it looks like something has gone wrong. Can anyone advise?

This is the link part only, the url, to display it you need to use or insert the full hyperlink something like:

Code: HTML    Select All    Expand All
<a href="<!--CLASS::xxxx-->">Your Link Text Here</a>

Sorry I'm not getting this. I have a page Links.page.shtml. I can see how to edit itin template editor but how can I view it? How can I get it into <!--CLASS::Top_Navigation--> so it can always be found.

You may need to read some html stuff to be able to handle your site, this is a minumum to handle any website. As I explained above and also it is explained in details when you create the page itself, create another page and see the help which is printed when your click create. You insert the link as it says in any class you want or any template.
