Alertpay IPN (Instant Payment Notification) is fully automated payment system using http://www.alertpay.com
Alertpay is fully integrated with our products and requires a minimum setting in your Alertpay.com account.
How to setup the settings in your alertpay account:
1)-Login to your http://www.alertpay.com account
2)-Click on Business Tools in the navigation menu
3)-Click on IPN Setup
4)-Enter your Transaction PIN and click on "Access" Button.
5)-Change the settings on this page as follows:
IPN Status: Enabled
Allow Encrypted Payment Details (EPD): Disabled
Alert URL: set this to the URL of the file AlertpayNotify.cgi on your server, for example:
for auction: http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/auction/AlertpayNotify.cgi
for classified: http://www.yourdomaincom/cgi-bin/classified/AlertpayNotify.cgi
for search: http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/dir/AlertpayNotify.cgi
IPN Security Code: click on the button "Generate New". This is your sercurity code, you will need to enter
this code in your auction, classifieds, and search admin-> Alertpay payment setup "Security code filed".
Test Mode: Disabled
Then click on the button "Update", that's all on Alertpay account setting.
The final step is to fo to your product admin.cgi, click on:
Billing Manager >> Payment Processor Setup > Setup
select Alertpay from the drop down menu and save all changes:
Select your payment processor: Alertpay
Click on the link Alertpay
Alertpay Merchant Email: Enter the email address you used for the Alertpay account to receive payments.
Alertpay Merchant Security Code: enter the IPN Security Code You generated in your IPN setup on Alertpay account.
Please note, Alertpay may change their site interface from time to time, so these steps will still be the guide for you.
