Hello everyone, This version includes many new features and new widgets. This version is 15.015 Released 09/29/2011.
Additions and changes are:
1)- Google Maps widget now used on all view items pages to display the seller address. 2)- User Fingerprint image. In the user preferences, user can upload an image which will display besides his login username in the welcome message at the top of the site, this helps user know he is logged in and good for users security. 3)- User Watermak. Now users can stamp their uploaded image files with their own watermark stamp image, from the account manager->perferences, the user will be able to upload his own watermak image file and it will watermakr by default at the bottom left corner while the site watermak at the bottom right corner, corner options will be added later.
4)-News ticker widget added. This widget now is displayed on the homepage but you can put it on any page
you want , this widget is configurable so you can set the source to any RSS News Feed site and also you can set the number of items to display and many other options, it is also Ajaxed so it loads independent of the page for faster page loads.
5)- Brintreepayments.com payment gateway added to our payment system you will find it in your admin.
6)- Added Shipping Packages fields in the Sell, Preview, View, and Print pages for the following: Package Weight
Package Weight Unit (LB, KG)
Package Type (Letter, Package, etc)
Package Width
Package Height
Package Length
Package Size Unit (centimeter, inch) 7)- Count down timers for all items on the homepage and on the listing pages, now each item has its own
count down timer that shows live the time left.
8)- The home page items links text has a feature to display only limited length and a tooltip system will display
the rest of the link text when user hovers to keep the design from messing with long items titles.
9) - User Avatar. Yes now users can add their business logo or avatar or whatever you can call image in their
account perferences and it will be displayed on the View item pages under his information.
10) - User Business information. In the user perferences a new text field add the contents of this field will be
displayed in the user information on the view items pages as a short descirption about the user business etc.
11)- The location/Region menu on the sell page redesigned to display all the location categories without reloading
so now if a location has children will be displayed as: US>Tennessee>Knoxville this to save one page reload. Also the region menu relocated with the Location so all the item/user location information as one item.
12)-The categories tree on the sell page redesigned to display the selected category ID number when the user
selects any category in case he is building a bulk upload list or for just information.
13)- Decimal formating. Removed the 2 digit decimal formatting like 100.34 on most location so you can use
any number of decimail you want automatically. meaning users can use number like 100.234 or 100.2345
14)- The following templates redeigned to use the new theme system, Print pages, Review bids pages.
15)- Gadget direct browser call feature added. This may be good for developers who wants to call gadgets
using Ajax calls during or after the original page loads to avoid delaying the whole page until all the gadgets to load. Example for this now the SimilarItems and SellerOtherItems gadgets which displays on the View items pages, You call the gadget with url like this: /action=gadget&gadget=SellerOtherItems&CatID=...
16)- Fixed bug due to a bug in the Perl module File::Slurp, very important.
May be small things here and their also but the above is the major changes.
How to upgrade

1) - First, we will be offering a new yearly service for around $499 for premium customers as a yearly subscription
to apply all the upgrades and bug fixes immediately once released safely and without messing or loosing their business as we will be released many major upgrades every month and it will be hard for customers who do not have the good experiance managing their site and it will also cost too much to hire us to apply each upgrade once released every time, Therefore we will be offering this yearly service to save our customer money and time and keep his business running. 2)- If you want to apply this upgrade yourself, first, Backup your entire site and database as usual 3)- from your admin->liveupdate, download and extract the latest version 4)-liveupdate->update->upgrade scripts, you will find a new script called Upgrade-09-29-2011 run this script once it will add some sql changes, only run it once, only run it once,.... 5)-liveupdate, do a differential upgrade, the from the selective upgrade, you need to upgrade the print templates, the view templates, the sell template, the preview, and the Frontpage. You will also need to update the language files for these templates. Note, you can update the language files from the language manager easier.

If you have not upgraded now to Auctionawy 2012, it will be very hard for you and us to migrate you after
that since we are going to make many sql changes. We will be giving a final chance within the next month after that we will not be able to migrate anyone from older versions before the 2012 version.
