Build Static Directory HTML PageI Error Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

After the searchaway installation in my domain http://myproductsearch.com
When I try to Build Static Directory HTML Page I got the error

Will build the following languages: English

Building English Directory Version

Engine base directory is: /Apache/htdocs/dirs
Directory not found or not created. Please set your engine base directory or create it manually.

Building Popular Pages Category: http://localhost/dirs/Popular
Path: /Apache/htdocs/dirs/Popular
index.shtml, Content-type: text/html

Cannot create /Apache/htdocs/dirs/Popular/index.shtml: No such file or directory
Line 763, File /home/salam/public_html/search//BuildAdm.pm

Please help

Here are some help docs about the admin center:


You just need to specify where the directory tree will be created on your domain.

In your admin center, click on "Build Static Directory", then click the link "Setup Build Directory Options".

You will find all options for building the static directory, it is very important to set the first two options correctly based

on where you want to put your directory tree on your domain, these options are:

Engine Base Directory:

URL To The Engine Base Directory:

The first option Engine Base Directory is the full absolute directory where directory tree will be generated on your domain,

from your domain settings this should be something like:


The second option "URL To The Engine Base Directory" will be the url to the folder you set in the first option, so if you

choose the folder "dir" as I set above, your url option for this will be:


I set these for you anyway but you can customize the folder as you like.
