Hello, I ran Mewsoft server test script, came back Required Perl modules - Business::OnlinePayment, Finance::Quote, Finance::QuoteHist, Crypt::SSLeay and Archive::Zip Not Installed (5)
Of the five, not installed, I would like to know the answer for Bussiness::OnlinePayment module. 1. Business::OnlinePayment::iAuthorizer, an Business::OnlinePayment backend module for iAuthorizer. It is only useful if you have a merchant account with iAuthorizer: https://www.iauthorizer.net/. I went to this site, a blank page with iAuthorizer on it. http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/Business/Business-OnlinePayment-iAuthorizer-0.1.readme Is this a mandatory module in order for MewSoft programs to work correctly? If so is there an alternative?
Making sure server meets all requirement before purchasing.
Thank you.
I went to http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/Business/ . So many different ones to choose. I don't quite understand.
Is there a generic Business::OnlinePayment module that I'm supposed to be looking for? because every one I come accross states that you can only use it with a specific vendor like Authorize.net or some other vendor that you must signup with.
Basically-I'm new at this, so can anyone give there opinion of which Business::OnlinePayment module to install? Which is the most used by other MewSoft owners? I have a PayPal account now.
Thanks again |

Do not blame you there. If you know anything about Perl, then I am sure that you can emplement another Vender instead of that one. The Owner "SHOULD" be able to give you some information on this, as it is a requirment for you to be able to use "Any Vendor" of your choosing. As I am planing on using " Nations Bank " as mine. As there does not seem to be a Module for " BB & T " bank.
But just ask, as a seperate question, and see if he will supply to information needed, As I am sure that others are wanting to (or) have already implemented another "Vendor" into the program.

Just install the default one, Follow the information towards the bottom of this post here. http://www.mewsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=202 It should get it installed. As I had a heck of a time getting it installed myself. Perl is a pain in the butt, really. But seems to be a nice Ground Work.
I wish that I could give you more informaiton, but I am trying to learn Perl myself, so far I am on my own, as I am unable to receive any help from no one, which makes it even more agrivating.
p.s. The search engine is a great product, I love it, It allows for so much. And can do more, just wish that "Someone" could assist with information on "HOW" to work with this program.
Take Care Carrzkiss |
