Custom Fields Manager trouble Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

I'm trying to set up a few custom fields to show up under certain categories. In the admin control panel, I went to create format, typed in the name "Plants" and selected "General" as the copy from format.\ \ I then switched the Current Format to "Plants" and made my changes.\ \ I then went to the Category Manager, edited the category I wanted and selected "Plants" where it says "Custom Fields Format" and saved the changes. \ \ None of the custom field formats from "Plants" show up. The general ones do still, but the "Plants" ones do not. I have the as active in the custom fields manager so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.\ \ Any insight would be much appreciated.\ \ Thanks!

In the PostAd template, make sure these classes fields exists:

<!--Ad1-->
<!--Ad2-->
<!--Ad3-->
<!--Ad4-->
<!--Ad5-->
<!--Ad6-->
<!--Ad7-->
<!--Ad8-->
<!--Ad9-->
<!--Ad10-->
<!--Ad11-->
<!--Ad12-->
<!--Ad13-->
<!--Ad14-->
<!--Ad15-->
<!--Ad16-->
<!--Ad17-->
<!--Ad18-->
<!--Ad19-->
<!--Ad20-->

<!--Ads1-->
<!--Ads2-->
<!--Ads3-->
<!--Ads4-->
<!--Ads5-->
<!--Ads6-->
<!--Ads7-->
<!--Ads8-->
<!--Ads9-->
<!--Ads10-->
<!--Ads11-->
<!--Ads12-->
<!--Ads13-->
<!--Ads14-->
<!--Ads15-->

Ad1 to Ad20 for general format, Ads1 to Ads20 for category specific formats. The category specific format will display on the post ad template only when the users selects that category from the category tree form and the post ad page reloads as it do after you select the general category regular.

I could not find any template called PostAd. However, I did find one called "sell" which I believe to be what you describe. It has all 40 ad and ads comments. Nothing shows up when I select a category that has the custom format on the sell page.

In the Format, each field you want to show must have the Active box checked (for each field click on "Edit" then check the box Active).
