Defualt language problem Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

I tried to change my defualt language from en-US into another language but it is not changed. I tried to do this using the language manager and the setting editor. Also the new languages are not showen in the user interface language selector. Only en-US is displayed. I have checked the langauge folder in my website directley and all the new languages fils are there. Please help Mohammed

You should not change anything in the Setting Editor yourself, this is advanced tool for developers only.

Anyway, from the langauge manager, click the tab "Prepare" then click on the button Prepare langauges

then after that set the default langauge from the Default tab in the langauge manager, then go to the theme manager

and assign languages to themes.

In your browser, you need to delete your browser cookies and cash also and reset your setting from the user side.

The problem that most of my settings such as the general opitoins and the listing options, can not be changed. Please help I dont know what is the problem.

Reinstall and never change settings using the setting editor and everything should be fine, you

worked for sometime with that so it should be easy for you to reinstall. You can keep your langauges

and theme changes after you do fresh install just copy the language and theme files you changed to

the new installation.
