Hi Ahmed,\ \ I'm having an issue with processing credit card payments. I'm currently using Paypal to process payment and have everything setup through the billing manager for PaypalDoDirect. When using IPN, everything works perfectly. The page directly goes to Paypal and the buyer can either pay via credit card or their Paypal account.\ \ However, when you click on "Credit Card Payment" in Money Manager and try to pay via credit card, this is what happens:\ \ \ Payment Error:\ \ Credit card processing error.\ Please go back and check your credit card information.\ \ 10501: This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.\ \ \ \ So my question is, why is this happening? If the IPN link works properly, why is it not processing credit cards through the "Credit Card Payment" link? \ \ Thanks

you need to get account which is available only now in USA and UK I think and you can search here for similar topics.

\ \ \ Ahmed,\ \ I read the FAQ and I already have a Paypal Website Payments Standard account. So that being the case, what could be the cause of this issue? Like I said, IPN works the way it should. But processing credit cards through the credit card link causes errors. What is causing this and how can I fix it?\ \ \ Thanks

It is something on your Paypal account side.

According to the PayPal this "occurs when the billing agreement is disabled or inactive". So yes, it's on the PayPal side, check you're fully signed up for everything and you've agreed to the $20 monthly billing and all that other good stuff.
