Where do I ad meta tags and description for serch engeenes to find my pages?\
Do I insert them into each page (cathegory, location, ets), or is there a meta description area for the whole site?
You can set the meta tags for each category and sub category, that's category specific, to do this, admin->General Categories, then edit each category you will find its meta tags:
