I have recently updated my auction and classified software. The classified posting category and subcategory works fin. However the auction category and subcategory actually works ok but there is no instructional text at the top or on the button. I have updated all .pm and .cgi files, all template files, and the tree.js file under html directory and reset all permissions. Could you tell me what I missed?\ \ Thanks for any help!

Seems you did it update the language files, so you may need just o insert the missing language variables, compare your language file with our demo and insert any missing or just update the language files.

Well that fixed the problem with no text showing up, I updated all the language files and even the index file, but now I lost all the categorys, none show up in the popup. I have went in and reset SQL tables, statistics, and category count just in case but nothing works. what did I miss?\ Thanks,\ Curt

Nothing special in general, the possibilities are:

Update the selling templates:

SellCategories.html
SellCategoriesNode.html

and the *.JS files in your html/auctions directory (Transfer these also in ascii mode)

and the last one is the language files as I said before.

the problem seems to be with the sell.pm file in languages folder. if I replace it with my old file, the popup window works with categories and subcategories, but with no instruction text. If I replace with your latest sell.pm, the window pops up with the text now, but with no categories at all.\ Any ideas?\ Curt

I'd say update these to finish this:

First download the .zip file from our site,

Update all templates,
update language files for sale, preview, edit

update all .JS files in the html directory

Nothing else needs to be done
