is there a way to search a member that is sitting idle (not selling or buying). there is a "search buyer" search seller" but being my site is brand new it has 2 people selling but 17 members. and right now all i can search up and get to a view about page is myself and the other seller.\

No, there is no such search method. Normally you will have very small percentage of the users selling while you have the large percent browsing or buying
Of course such feature can be added as an admin feature as a custom programming if you want to list users selling only in a list or so, if you are interested contact us by email.
