Email Help
I am having some problems getting my email confirmations to work. I always receive an error that the SMTP server can't be contacted. I have tried several ISPs with no change. I have the server configured for SMTP mail. I guess my question is, am I missing something? Is there any documentation to guide me on this problem and which settings need to be configed for mail to work? Okay, that was more than one question but...

First, try to use sendmail, second if not, you MUST know your mail server address, if you do not ask your hosting company, it can be something like:

mail.yourdomain.com
smtp.yourdomain.com

You may have sendmail program but you do not have permissions or you do not know the path exactly to it.

I am using a win2k3 server. I don't think sendmail is an option, is it?

Then ask your hosting what is your mail server or service available for you.

My fault. If any of you decide to host your own site make sure you open port 25 on the router if you're using forwarding. Thanks for the help with this problem.
