robots.txt (any recommended sample?) and ErrorDocument directive

1. I need to create a robots.txt file? I'm not exactly sure what should or shouldn't be traversed by our friendly little searchBots. Is there a recommended sample available?\ \ 2: How are ErrorDocuments handled in this script? Do they make use of classes or the .htaccess file as directives? I could easily create a standard 40x.shtml; however, they look much more professional when they take on the look of the site. Any suggestions for a quick and easy way to do this? I'm running the site on a Apache server.

Re: robots.txt (any recommended sample?) and ErrorDocument directive

for robots.txt , search the web for help on this, this is a general website performance issue.

for teh server error issue, this is also a sever configuration specific issue, see your server root direcories and see if any spcific error direcories that may include these html files that you can edit or ask your hosting for it.
