| Problems with GD module |

| I am using perl software Active Perl version 5.8.7 on a windows system.\
\
I am currently having problems loading the GD mobule.\
Using ppm, I typed in install GD and got the message "Package 'GD' not found.\
\
Is there any other Perl software I could use instead or is there a way to get GD installed with the software I am using?\
\
I emailed support and they gave me the reply to look in the annoncement-> fag section. Pretty much I did what they told me to which was :\
\
Windows servers\
\
To install GD on a windows server, from DOS window type:\
\
c:\perl\bin\ppm\
PPM>install GD\
\
You may need to remove the installed GD version first:\
PPM> remove GD\
\
But this did not work as I could not load the GD module.\
\
Any help would be great.\
