Re: cron jobs

It depends on the process you wish to run.\ \ For instance, if you wish to run AutoProcess.cgi and the location of your AutoProcess.cgi file is located at (have to think the "servers way" of path) home/youraccount_name/public_html/cgi-bin/AutoProcess.cgi, then that is what you enter in Cpanel and choose what time you want it to run.\ \ Always make sure none of your crons are *****, that would mean it would run every minute, everyday, etc. Too much load for the server.

?

I obviously dont understand cron. I didnt know I had a choice I was assuming that there were certain things in the system that required this process and so Im pretty much in the dark. I have set the public cgi only because you gave that as an example.

Re: cron jobs

Just go to your Auctions Manager>Automate Processing and follow the instructions there.\ \ That will make your system close auctions and send out emails on items won, not sold, etc at the time you set.
