| I am having permission errors and lock errors even though all of my cgi and auction files have been chmodded to 755. It works if I chmod to 777 but I would like to configure my apache server for it to work with 755 perms for security reasons.\

Can you please tell me what I need to do in order to do that? I am running my own server so can make any configuration changes needed.\

| For any server configuration ask your hosting company. It is better to get a server with a control panel like Plesk or cPanel and it does it all in easy way, server administration is very complicated issue unless you are a system administrator |
