Hello All;
In the Sub-Categories [Edit] page.
Under [Description] (Not Meta-Description)
Does what ever we put in this area, apear on the
"Search Cat Page" ?
Example: Sub-Category - Mewsoft
If we right : NetEngine/Searchawy
Shouldn't the " NetEngine/Searchawy " show on it's page
In the Search Engine?
If so, it is not working on mine?
Just check it out on " Meta Title,Description & Keywords "
And they do not work as well.?

| That was fixed in the latest update. Download the latest zip file from our site "My Account", unzip and update the file displaymgr.pm only. |

Well that got the " Meta-Description" taken care of, it is there now.
But the
" Meta-Keywords " & (Most importantly to me anyway) The "Description"
Are still not there? |

OK, Got all the " Meta, Keywords (When it want to work), Meta Description, Meta Title (When it wants to work).
BUT? Still do not have the plain old ordinary [Description]
It still is not showing up?
But you got the others one though,,, congrates |

PS.....
All the Meta Information '''' Works Great.
For some reason the database lost the "Keywords & Title"
I have to resubmit it in, I will keep an eye on that, to see if it
Happens again?
But still missing the [Description] part of... |

You mean the meta description <!--CLASS::Meta_Description--> or the category Description that should display under the category if you choose the admin->category option ->

In the "Category" The very top [Description] Edit Field.
Is this suppose to show in the Category Page? on the end-user side?
If you go into
Category-name [Edit]
List:
Cat ID#
Parent Cat#
Cat Act:
Accept Sub:
Cat Teaser:
Sort Oder:
Cat Name:
Description: <-----> This is the one that I am referring too?
( Does it show in the end-user side when you open up it's Category? )
cat Meta Title:
Cat Meta Description:
Cat Keyword: |

No, it shows under the category name itself in the category list, see the help:
Description
The description text box can be used to enter any text or html that can be displayed under this category if this option is selected from the categories options menu from the options Home Page Category Teasers Display Mode or Category Teasers Display Mode.
Example:
Computers
All used and new computers, laptops, accessories. |

oh ok.... no problem.
How hard would it be to add in a "New Feature" to where
On the " Categories Page" It shows "Text" ? Like what I "Thought"
That the [Description] in admin was?
If possible, could you send me a link to some "Perl/CGI" information
So that I can do some checking and testing?

You mean when listing the category, you want to display some kind or category specific text or images or any kind of html information?.
Of course this can be done as a custom work, if you are interested email me for quote, but remmeber as we do normalley all custom work adds to the software for others for free. |

Actually I would like to try to do this on my own.
If you could possibly send me some links with information,
That would be great.
It would give me the opertunity to learn how Perl/CGI works.
