E-Mailing Registered Users Problem |
|
Hello! I am trying to email my registered users in the admin section. I have done so before, no problem. Clicking on a users email address, Outlook express would pop up & I would simply fill out the email & click send. (had to do 1 at a time even still) (also I do not really like OutLook Express) Anyway, NOW I click on a registered users email address & I get REDIRECTED to YAHOO MAIL sign in page..!??? What could have possibly happened? I did not change anything! |

This has nothing to do with the software, this is your computer default mail program. You should set your default mail client program say to Outlook /express. Also you can email all users in one shot unless you need to email them this way one by one. Have not you studied the Mail Manager. |

Thank you Mewsoft! I thought it was a default problem. The wierd part is I did not change anything, but I will check it out. I have studied the Mail Mgr, but I get a permission denied (before this Yahoo thing) error message, & I am not savy enough to find out how to check/change permissions to 755 or 777 as I have been reading. I really do not know where to look at these. I am learning, just not swiftly! |

You need to know what mail program available and put it in your admin->Configuration, see it in your testserver in setup wizard, normally it is /usr/lib/sendmail etc. |
