Paul, You need to keep track of your changes step by step, and only do one changes then check the result on the user side, this way you can always undeo the wrong changes. Now for the category issue, you have different locations, first, in the template editor, see or restore any template its name has "category or categories", the same for the classes, then if all fails, go to the language manage, the General/Homepage file any variables that has category. Please note in general in the templates, classes, and even in the language files, the programs dynamic variables are inserted between comments angle bracket tags < !-- and -- > and the language variable are inserted beteen two square brackets like [[home]] , so if you remove any of these things you disable the program output. Also please do not change any Javascript code that exists anywhere in any of these locations. I see you fixed the language issue, you are doing very excellent progess.
