I think I just asked a stupid question ops:
I believe my answer lies in the static page build function.
So, as I read it, if I build the entire directory as static, then that should make the URLS more search engine friendly, as well as making pages load faster. The manual says that this method cannot be used for bidded items, so I'm assuming that is for the Auctions software, and not the payperclick - right?

Yes these short URLs will be produced by the static engine, but you can not use the Pay perl click system with static pages (Not the auction items). Bidding system is dynamically generated and can not be static and that's the case with any PPC see Google and overture. |
