Ahmed,
It appears that the "This auction has been viewed X amount of times" counter has stopped working. I have tried different test users, different computers, different browsers. I swear I haven't touched anything. Is it coincidental that it stopped working after hostgator installed the Finance::Quote module on the sites' directory?

No the modules installed has nothing to do with that. Try to restore the code in the view item template,
copy it from our demo to your's in the admin->Template editor.
