Where is the topic Internal server error?

Hi!

Ahmed,

Why did you delete the topic Internal server error when submitting auctions?

I think it would have been valuable to others to know what was wrong with the featured section even after all my settings were correct, and after you did a clean install it was still doing it.

Re: Where is the topic Internal server error?

Ahmed,

I installed the necessary modules and everything is OK on the server.

I do not get the server error anymore, what I do get though is a mewsoft error now;

Can 't read source image file /home/httpd/vhosts/a1onlineauctions.com/httpdocs/auctions/upload/02jjieaibyvq1ee.jpg: Inappropriate ioctl for device

Hey!

I was ahead of you on the gif thing, still the same error message. hehe

No, running PLESK.

By the way, I was right about the problem being bigger than expected.

Re: Where is the topic Internal server error?

I installed all possible subs and the necessary modules for the quotes, Currency Converter etc... Hell I installed every module on CPAN'site.

Really, Ahmed knows exactly what's wrong, I got him to install my software, AGAIN, and still the same crap, no working featured section. He found the problems, so I installed the appropriate modules on my server and they are up to date, this is why I don't get the internal server error anymore. No, instead I get a new error, when is this going to get resolved? I'm getting pretty pissed off about the money and time I'm spending on this and no action as of yet.

Re: Where is the topic Internal server error?

What I don't understand here is why a featured auction writes to two folders or at least mine does. Seems like a waste of server space if your site grows very large....

One is here - http://www.romahawk.net/nas/upload/RottMagnet2.jpg

The Other here - http://www.romahawk.net/nas/featured/1101017314.jpg

and your site only appears to be writing to and looking in only one folder - upload ....

I'm hosted with nomonthlyfees.com with Cpanel and after adding a few missing graphics my site seems to be running fine. I haven't had a lot of time to really test with a lot of items yet but so far so good. Hope you find where your problem is....

Re: Where is the topic Internal server error?

I thought I would get this in before this post is deleted too.

The Template Toolkit includes a number of plugin modules, some of
which interface to external Perl modules available from CPAN. All the
plugins will be installed regardless so that they will automatically
work as and when you install the relevant modules. The tests will be
skipped for plugins that require external modules not currently
available on your system.

Do you want to run the DBI tests?
It requires access to an existing test database. [y]

What now Ahmed? I've installed everything and I get no errors on server.

Re: Where is the topic Internal server error?

Ahmed,

I found the lib /usr/lib/libpng.so.3 so I linked it to
what the system is looking for /usr/lib/libpng.so.2 and now you have the gif2png program working.

Can you check to see if this is still ok?
What did you do to link?

on your server I installed it here:

http://a1onlineauctions.com/cgi-bin/GD_Test/GD_Test.cgi

you can run it from telnet also by tryping:

perl GD_Test.cgi

Compare it onour site:
