| Problems after 2005 8.5 upgrade |

| I have upgraded before on older versions and have not had problems. I used the auto installer and only upgraded the cgi / pm files per the instructions. here is the error message that I get when I try to go into my admin and auction site.\

can not open path file ./data/StartUp.pm or ./data/StartUp.pm: No such file or directory. Please make sure the directory data and all its subdirectories and files are writables. at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1/CGI/Carp.pm line 314.\
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at admin.cgi line 79.\

| You already own Auctionawy 2005 so why you installing NetAuction 6.xx?. |

Please do NOT duplicate you posts. I mean you own in your "My Account" area Auctionawy 2005, you can install it, the error you postd above from NetAuction 6.xx. |

| Use the Auto Installer to install the full software or use the FTP program to transfer the whole cgi-bin/auction directory in ASCII mode, Your installation is not complete. |
