Bidding procedure

If a person bids an it is not logged the system opens the loggin\ mask, when the login is submited instead of returning to the bidding mask to continue with the bidding it goes to the "Acccount Overview" and one has to go all the way back or start from the very beginnig once more. This it is unconfortable and a waist of time.

Re: Bidding procedure

Users will only need to login once and their login is kept by cookies all next times until they logout.

Bidding procedure

You did not understand the problem. ONCE MORE\ Before bidding you wrote \ "You are currently logged in as (......). To login as a different user, please sign out, and login again."\ If somebody sign out as it is suggested it appears instead of the login mask the "My account" Page which it is pretty useless since I want to login again and not to go to my account. This step does not make any sence.\ If going directly to the login link, you log in as a different user and instead of returning to the bidding mask in order to place your bid one gets the "my account" page and has to go all the way back to the item. \ Very unconfortable and user unfriendly.

Re: Bidding procedure

It seems you do not understand what template driven means, you can customize the look and feel as you like, the default templates is not meant for your final design or all sites will lok the same. You can clear all the links in your account overview and insert these links in the my account template or simply you can create a login page or place a login form on your home page, lots of possibliltes to customize, it depends on your experiance in html etc and a web designer could make your life better.

Re: Bidding procedure

Hi,\ Downes is right. He probably does not explain it properly.\ The ideal solution would be:\ \ After signing in you are automatically redirected to the page you were on before you had to sign in.\ For example:\ View Item >>\ You place a bid (you are not signed in)\ Automatically transfers you to SIGN IN\ You Sign in \ Automaticall Back to bidding for the item.\ \ Accounts Manager should only be available through direct click from the menu.\ \ Take a look at how ebay does it.\ \ Ahmed you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.\ \ Poldy
