Please try our new Boardawy 2008 (Versin 3.00) which will be released in the next few days), the new version is very enhanced version with many new advanced features.

Main New features

1)-Syntax Highlight

This is a very nice feature for displaying all programing codes on posts and topics colored with the color scheme you want like you see in your Visual studio editor or else, supports every language moe than 138 language, to highlight specific coe just include it among these tages:

[code=LangName]
...your code here...
[/code]

That's it, for example to highlight an html code, do this:

[code=HTML]
...your html code here...
[/code]

another example to insert and highlight Perl code:

[code=Perl]
....your perl code here...
[/code]

and a PHP code like:

[code=PHP]
....your PHP code here...
[/code]

The code will will not be altered and will keep its format and spacing (You need to swith the Editor to text mode for this).

2)-New better Visual HTML Editor
----------------------------------
Implemented the new Visual HTML editor with many enhanced features and plugins and faster loading just the first time to load the toolbar images then cash them after this with a preload progress indicator, the visual editor also supports themes that you can choose.

3)-Smileys
---------------
The new version has Smileys in its visual html editor that the user can select the Simle image visual and insert it in the posts visual without code. You will see the Smile icon in the visual html editor.

4)-Topics Titles Editable Now (The first post)

5)-Many bugs fixed and optimzations and some other features.

The development is still going on it and new features will be added in the next few days.

A new nice feature Latest Threads RSS Syndication, at the bottom navigation, you will find the link  RSS Syndication which allows you to customize the RSS feed you want to get, you can get the latest threads in all forums, or for specific forums and also you can customize the maximum threads to retrive each query.

Click on this link to see how to create your RSS feed link:

For example, the link to use to get the latest 50 threads for all forums on our forum, you will get the link:

to get the newest 20 threads only on the Auctinawy forum, you can use the link generated below:

http://www.mewsoft.com/cgi-bin/forum/forum.cgi?action=RSS&Forum=2&Limit=20

another example, the link generated for all announcements sub forums is:

http://www.mewsoft.com/cgi-bin/forum/forum.cgi?action=RSS&Forum=15,13,23,1,6&Limit=25

and so on.

After you generate the RSS link, you can use any RSS reader like SharpReader from http://www.sharpreader.net/ where you can receive notifications about new threads etc, you can also view the RSS feed threads with most browsers that support RSS and also you can submit the RSS feeds to news sites and syndications and aggregators etc, the use is limited to your imaginations.
