Hi,

Bug report for Auctionavy!

Neither our bought programm in our site, nor your demo programm at mewsoft.com side does send e-mail.

Would you please check it immediately?

You need to setup your mail system in your admin->Configuration. Turn it on, and see what email program or SMTP server available for you and use it.

Checking your site:

http://ajans.com/cgi-bin/auction/testserver.cgi

You have sendmail, change its locations to:

/usr/sbin/sendmail

Our setup was as following:

Select mail program and platform: Sendmail (Unix) Your OS: linux
Location of mail program(or SMTP server address): /usr/sbin/sendmail
Email System Status: ON

Where is the problem?

Also where is the probleme at your demo site?

What yuou mean by demo site problem. The demo site is working normal and I just retested it, no problem. Do you have problem with your email client that you are checking your email with?.

Try the Contact us link on your site and see if you get email or not. Also have you checked your email by any other script before, you may not allowed to use it you can ask your hosting for that, you may have an SMTP server that you can also use.

Please explain exactly what link you are using and you did not get the email from it, Is itthe registration or what?.

I just tested your auction site and registered as a user and recived the email below, so your email is working just fine.

Hi,

When we use a name like testuser1@ajans.com or testuser2@ajans.com which they use same domain name 'ajans.com', system does not send e-mails to this addresses. Of course I mean, when an action occurs like adding accoount, listing, selling etc. inside auction system.

Is there any limitation to use same domain name both for auction system and for users which they may have an e-mail account at same domain or is it a bug?

Of course the system has no limitations of the users at the same domain, you should understand that the program and also any program does not send the email, the program uses your mail server to send the program. This means that it may be a limitation or some thing in your mail server configuration, contact your hosting for this.
