Can any one give me a step by step on setup for auto processing? I'm a bit confused. I'm on a Linux server.

SInce you are on a Linux server, this is good, the program will use the unix cron job program to automate the auction closing. To setup this, go to your admin->Auctions Manager, click on "Automate Processing" and setup the info, you can leave the defaultto work every one hour which is the ideal case for auctions but change your password there
