I had a user forward an email to me where it said she had been outbid by another user. In fact, she HAD been outbid, but the email said

Your User ID: jenglory

but really jenglory was the person who outbid her.

I checked my user database and all the fields are correct.

This was sent to the person who got outbid, but the person named was the outbidder..

I can not reproduce this error, everything seems fine. Does anyone else have this error also?. Also please register with2 accounts, sell item, then place 2 bids and forword to me the emails to check it. Are you using the latest source code versions?, if not please update.

I am able to reproduce this error.

I bid on an auction.
I was outbid by nice_n_spicy.

Are you using the latest versions? make sure you have the latest *.cgi and *.pm files specialley bidding.pm module. Can you test this on our demo site.

Again any one else have this issue?

I just got the script a few weeks ago, I posted the build on my post above. I will try the demo, but someone will have to outbid me to see if it happens.

Well, I outbid myself with a second identity. But the first identity never got any outbid notice. (?!)

OK, I realized I never got an outbod notice on the demo auction because I bid on a dutch auction. SO I went back and bid on a single item, in your demo auction, and I WAS ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE ERROR.

First I bid as chief. Then I outbid myself, as chief2. chief has the email address: chief@mlparena.com. chief2 has the email address chief2@mlparena.com.

Chief,
You have to go to the main site and "My Account". Enter in your License number, then click "Email to me" and it emails the updated program to you. All you have to do then is unzip it and upload the two files to your server and it's ready to go.
