Firstly a big Hello to everyone.

I have just purchased the script and can normally install any script with ease, but this has got me a bit stumped!. :?
I have uploaded the script as per instructions using BFTP, and set the permissions accordingly, but when I try the admin login ie: "http://www.madbay.co.uk/cgi-bin/auction/admin.cgi" I receive the following error message:

Error
Error: Can't open language file /home/madbay1/public_html/cgi-bin/auction/data/language/English /General.pm: No such file or directory
Line 153, File /home/madbay1/public_html/cgi-bin/auction/general.pm

Any help would be much appreciated on this, and I guess its gonna be something stupidly obvious but I can take it ok embarrasmentops:

Transfer the files data/*.ini in ASCII mode.

Thanks a lot for that tip it did the trick.
All I need to know is why the configuration will not save in admin when I update it.
Is it a file permissions problem and if so what do I have to chmod, as I have chmod all files to 755 as per instructions.

May be your server does not allow the 755 to be writable, change the mode for the directory data and the file data/*.ini to 777 and see if it works, if so, then you will have to change all the dirs and files under the data to 777.
