On the Item page, people in different Timezones receive different times. I'm guessing this is because it is Java based.\

But, people see there is time left to bid, they click to bid only to find out the item has closed.\

I asked many people (in instant messenger) from many different timezones to check the same item and report on time left and the times were off in hours by their timezone.\

Is there a way to control the time reported back by making the Java check the server time instead of the users computer?
You can always replace the Javescript code with your own code or you can disable the real time clock and enable the time left class only, in the view item page you can enable this class:
