Hi,\ I just got my auction software installed by Ahmed a few days ago. My currency converter is not working. the following error comes up...........\ Server Error \ The following required Perl modules are not installed on this server:\ \ \ Finance::Quote\ \ \ Please contact your server administrator or hosting company to install these modules.\ \ Perl modules can be downloaded from www.cpan.org or installed using the programs ppm or cpan that comes with perl in the same bin directory. To install perl module, run the program ppm or cpan or perl -MCPAN -e shell, then type install module_name. Root access required for this action...........\ Now I have had a look at lots of forum answers and even changing the CurrencyConverter.pm to Currency.pm does not work. Those posts seem to be fairly old and since I bought the software just a few days ago, one would expect this to have been fixed by now. Any ideas or suggestions as to what I may be missing. Cheers.

Concerning the uninstalled PERL module (Finance::Quote), ask your hosting company to install it in your control panel. That's all! Nothing more.

Hi there thanks for the advice. I got the host to install the modules required.

Now the error says the following...........

Software error:

Undefined subroutine &main::Currency_Converter called at /home/vijay/
public_html/cgi-bin/auction/Auction.pm line 151.\

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (webmaster@vizituz.com), giving this error message

and the time and date of the error...............

Any ideas what I need to do now? All your help is appreciated. Cheers.

You seem you messed up some files on your server. I FTPed the file CurrencyConverter.pm and your currency converter worked.
