Hi\ \ I`m still new with this auctionawy ,but i think it`s a great program. So far i had no problems by setting it up ,thanks to the great team at mewsoft.com\ \ I have 1 question :\ \ Why don`t i get an e-mail notification when i register to my site. It says that i should check my e-mail to confirm . But i don`t get any ????\ \ But when i`m sending an e-mail from the "Contact us" page ,i get it in my private mailbox ,where i lead all the mails to ? \ But not from the "Register"-section.....

If the contact us form sends email then your email configuration is fine. See your admin settings may be it is setto Auto Approve new users in General options. Also try to register using emails not at your domain, may be your local mail is blocked for some reason due to spam filters.

I have tried what you described ,and as far as i can see ,i have no spam-filter on my mailbox ???\ \ Is there anyother options ?\ \ Thanks

Try using sendmail instead of the mail server in your admin->configuration. No other options.

Thanks\ \ I will try that....\ \ I have another problem.\ When i`m trying to upload pics to my site ,i get an error :\ \ Can`t locate object method "newfromgif" via package "GD::Image" at /home/www/record-sellers.com/cgi-bin/auction/selllib.pm line 715\ \ Can you tell me what to do ???\ or shall i contact my hosting...\ I can send you my info to the site if you like ???\ \ Thanks

Ask your hosting to install a newer versionof GD module and libraries, older versions do not support GIF files. You can upload jpg files only with older GD module versions.
