when i tr to edit an item, the upload button will not work, the browse does nothing. and if the item was checked off to bold or be featured originally you can not change that it edit?

Yes if any feature was checked at the auction submittion time, it can not be turned of, since this is

a paid service and fees get deducted at the submittion time.
