Hi to all,
Can any one please advise as to the type of hosting the auction script requires the hosting co i have looked at offers:
IE:Server Operating System linux or Windows

Languages Supported
Linux: PHP/Perl/Java
Windows: ASP/PHP
Windows: ASP.NET

CGI Support Included (Linux Only)

ASP Support Included (Windows Only)

Basically which do i need the linux or windows which is best.

My opinion would be Linux.
Windows scares me :lol:

If your hosting only has support for Perl/CGI on Linux, then you would HAVE to use Linux as your choice.

Linux is the best as a web server., also you need it sure for the auction system to automate it, check our hosting partner.
