| How to do the new update 17.0 |

| Dear Dr Ahmed
Just would like to ask how to do the new udate. Do we need to reinstall the software agian or just updating the code files or what?
Please advise

Hello Mohammed,
Updating the code files only at any time is good, you can use the Liveupdate tool in the admin, download, extract then do "Code Update" this always lets you on the latest version and does not change anything in your settings or customizations. Please note, code update also updates the js folder so if you customize any css or js files in this folder will be overwritten.
Please note, the version 17 update is required now only if you want to get the FastCGI module, if you do not want to
get it, you do not need to apply this upgrade and you do it anytime later with next upgrade. Thanks
