Been at this for 24 hours plus over and over and over again. Tried auto installer several times. no luck, fried ftp mysef many times
FTP changed cmod as intructed
I get this mesaage as i de the admin.cgi intruction
Error: Can't open language file /home/www/c9f1c6a273ff53f85402298452529810/web/cgi-bin/auction/data/language/English /General.pm: No such file or directory
Line 153, File /home/www/c9f1c6a273ff53f85402298452529810/web/cgi-bin/auction/general.pm
The file is ther with cmod 755
What next?

Sounds like you may not have transferred the files in ASCII mode.
Give that a try and let me know. |

I use Cute FTP
It transfers files as they are
How can tht abe checked ?

That says:
CuteFTP is generally clever enough to choose the correct "file type" for the most common kinds of file automatically. If you should need to explicitly specify a file type as ASCII or Binary for an unusual file, you will need to "customise" the toolbar. To do this, right-click the toolbar, choose "Customise", select the ASCII, Binary and Auto Detect icons on the left, click the right-pointing arrow, and finally click OK. This allows you to click the Binary or ASCII icons if ever you need to override the automatic default. For more detail on which "file types" to use for which files, see the File Types section of our general guide to FTP.
I hope that's a solution, because if the file exists and it's chmod 755, the only other thing I can think of is the transfer mode that would cause it.

Very frustrated. !!!
Can anyone let me know iof thwy have had this problem
Can sellers of this programs which I paid for, can you at least help and direct me here.
