I can't get auctionaway installed. I get the following after installing to a fedora core 4 server. This is running the admin.cgi.\
\
Error: Can't open language file /var/www/cgi-bin/auction/data/language//General.pm: No such file or directory Line 190, File /var/www/cgi-bin/auction/General.pm\
\
It is able to run the testserver.cgi app.\
\
any suggestions? |

As I answered your email,: in your 2 error screen shots you sent, in your testserver, all RED modules needs to be installed, ask your hosting company to install them, if they refuse then switch to a good one. The second error message because you uploaded the language files in Binary mode, you need to upload all the files under cgi-bin/auction in ASCII mode. ================================================ You can use our online Auot installer on our site, it will take care of the files mode, you will need only to change the files permissions after it finishes. all of the errors are gone as you can see above. We installed everything like it should. We installed the files in ASCII mode, so that don't have nothing to do with it. Any other suggestions? |

Alright, I went to make sure I had everything installed but I am missing 2 perls and I can't find it for fedora core 4. Where can I find them? Would not having them 2 perls make it not work and cause this error? I can't do the autoinstaller because I am not posting this on the internet, then is setup on a server for in house use at our business. |
