There is no featured plus area at the top (or bottom) of the categories or search results. I have all of the latest updates installed.

By default the featured plus auctions are sorted at the top of each category and also in search results regarding of even sorting. The key is you have 2 independent listing classes for featured items, you can color these classes or customize them so these items looks different, also you can make the featured items thumbs bigger than normal ones.

This is what is not happening. the featured plus items fall in line with all of the other items. The only difference is they have a 'featured item' graphic beside them. please visit

there are 3 featured plus items on this page and none of them are on the top and one of them is even last.

That was fixed in the last few bugs with the advanced search bug fix. Update the search.pm and advancedsearch.pm files.

I re-updated the search.pm and advancedsearch.pm files. I did just those two files manually first with no change in the results, and then I did the 'update all .cgi and .pm files' with the auto installer. Still the same problem.

OK I tested the demo site, search for 'book cover' on the demo site and my non-featured listing is above the featured listings in the search results. also the non-featured listing appears above the featuted listings in the category, see; http://mewsoft.com/cgi-bin/na/auction.cgi?action=Browse&Search=Category&Cat_ID=634&Lang=English

You were right, the updated search.pm file was not uploaded to the customers update and donwload area. Please download the software again and upload only the file search.pm
