I too wonder about the emails the system receives from PayPal. I recall the instructions were to NOT let any other email program check our emails for the auction site or we would not receive them in our auction site programs email system.

Ahmed, is the system automatically cron-jobbing the paypal emails for us? Or should we go in and manually check each email from paypal to our cpanel's email program that our auction site uses?

I think the reason that he says not to czech those emails manually is becuase 99% of email programs out of the box will download the messages to your local computer, thereby making them unavailable to the auction software. Also, reading a message on an email program via imap or some such usually flags the message as "read" and the auction software will probablly notice this and ignore the message.

I hope you all you get your email filled up with emails from Paypal, but do not worry about it.

You CAN let your email client like Outlook express or outlook to read the email account but enable the button "Leave a copy on server", this feature allows you to read the emails but leave it for our software to read and delete.

Yes sure or everytime the user check his paypal payments it will read it again and deposit it again and again. As I said before, do not worry about that, it takes care of it completely.
