To add a new fields, you have to add it through the custom fields manager, enable the custom fields that you want

in the admin->custom fields manager.

admin custom fields manager, enable the fields you want, then in the sell and pewview and view templates, you will

find fields like < ! -- AdsXX -- > you can move them anywhere in the templates, these are the custom fields placeholders.

what exactly you did and what did not let you type in. You enable the fields in the admin custom fields manager

then you edit each field to set what type each field for example if the field should be a text or text area or radio or check box.

try to post images here of what you are saying as error.
