My auction site is hosted on onsmart. \

My database has around 28,000 categories.\
\
I have been have a problem with database hangup when posting auctions and during gategory count update. During database query the database becomes locked. Onsmart says this is because my mewsoft script does not have indexing. The follow is a transript between onsmart and myself. My question is can you fix this problem?\

bob: What I meant was, there is an option in Cpanel that says fix tables or optimize tables, do you think that will help?\

Mewsoft how do I fix this problem? My site is down and customers are complaining.\
