Update!!! I fixed the problem. All I did was copy Categories.pm from the auction\data\language\English directory to the \auction directory and it updated.
All I can say is that it worked, and I don't know why.
There are no files has relation with the updating the system stats process itself but may be the file you refer here was corrupted druing your upload so the text was not displayed or could be a server overload at that time. Anyway good you fixed it.
