If you did not apply upgrades once released then you are in a big trouble, they should be applied in the order they released.

What version you have?

This upgrade doe not affect any customization and as stated you upgrade the gadgets folder and the files in the root folder only do not

upgrade themes or languages etc.

Yes the new version is much faster as we replace some modules or built in libs with our own optimized code which added more

than 200% faster.

You can always apply upgrades to the code files only and do not upgrade the templates, widgets, or language files, this way you

stay able to upgrade to latest versions. Anyway, some upgrades adds changes to the database or new sql tables which has to

be applied in order they released, if you use the Liveupdate tool in your admin, download, extract, then see a bunch of files

under upgrade scripts, you can apply them in the order their names shows, before anything do full site backup.

Of course if your budget allows we can do it but it will cost you, if you are interested email us.

If you stay without upgrades then after a year you will not be able to use the new products/versions, this is one of

the reason we added the Liveupdate tool in the admin to make the upgrade easy for anyone.
