I tested it and here is the error:

Can 't read source image file /home/httpd/vhosts/a1onlineauctions.com/cgi-bin/auction/data/temp/flage_egypt.png: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Line 405, File /home/httpd/vhosts/a1onlineauctions.com/cgi-bin/auction/AddItemLib.pm

This means you need to install a compatible libpng.so that works with your current libgd.so, seems you are close.

libpng passes test
[root@localhost libpng-1.2.7-config]#

If this test passes does it not mean that it is compatible with libgd?
If not what would be the proper make test for finding out what libpng.so works with libgd.so.

Thanks

Mike I know it's frustrating when you can't get a program to run no matter what you do. Been there done that several times but once I moved the programs to a different host everything worked out OK.

I use this one at http://www.nomonthlyfees.com and have never had a problem with them. In my four years with them the only problems I have had with them were resolved by their techs in less than a day except for two serious storms knocking the servers down but that was beyond their control.

Only complaint I have is if you want a module added to the server such as the finance ones to run the stock report and credit conversion there is an additional fee for the techs to do that. Hey it's only $25.00 but right now I'm in Stingy Mode.... embarrasmentops:
