Need recommendation for proper procedure to Backup Auctionawy 2005 , say for Disaster/ Recovery\ \ I host with the hosting site recommended by Mewsoft and there a number of options available:\ 1)Hosting company offer FULL site restore for a fee\ 2) From hosting account Control Panel , I can also do a Full site backup\ 3) From Hosting account Control Panel , I can do individual MySQL database backups\ 4) Using My favorite FTP program I can download the following folders to my PC and "burn" to CD:\ ...cgi\auction \ ...html\auctions\ \ Which should I use for full / partial recovery ?

To backup your full site including the database:

got o your admin.cgi, ->Database & SQL manager->Backup SQL Database Into Text Files

This will backup your auction or classifieds database to a text files under the data/database directory.

After this you can use any backup tool to backup your whole site.
