Email Listing Confirmation - Item error Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

When the system sent a listing comfirmation item to the user. The user receive the Email with all the HTML tags.

Example:

This the email that user receive. Where can I fix this problem?

    You can edit the email messages to be text only. If you leave it as html page and the user email client will see it as html code.

    In the General Option I changed the Outgoing Email Format: from HTML to Text. I tested the email againg asking a seller a question and the system did the same, the user received the email with html tags.

    DId you read my post, I said you need to edit the email messages in your language and remove the html code if you want your messages to be text, the option you set is required for the mail server only but will not modify your messages.

    Yes I read your last post. I do not want to modificate my email, I want it in HTML code. The problem is that the user is receiving the email in HTML including the Tags . and he can not read the email because it arrive with all the tags.\ \ Attached You will find a copy of an Email sent ot the user.\ \ Thank You\ \ Dennis

    Then you have to set the admin general option for sending emails as html, then you may need to edit these emails to include it in a full html page header and footer like that:


    Code: HTML    Select All    Expand All
    </p><p>&lt;html&gt;<br />&lt;head&gt;<br />&lt;title&gt; New Document &lt;/title&gt;<br />&lt;/head&gt;</p><p>&lt;body&gt;</p><p>Insert your current email message here </p><p>&lt;/body&gt;<br />&lt;/html&gt;<br /></p><p>

    This will every email client to know it is fully html full page.

    I have checked all the Variable Name in Edit Language file that belong to these Email, and compared all them with the demo and all are the same. \ \ Note: If you made the installation yourself. it is not suppose for the system to work fine?

    Seems you are understanding, as long as the emails are received then everything is workin, you are saying your email clientor your user received the email in text mode not in html mode, this means your email client can not view html pages that's why I have told you to make the above changes, you need to do it on your own as you like.
