Hi;\ \ When an item is sold, the buyer gets his/her email. But the seller does not get an email. Could you help?\ By the way, our auction is processed automatically by crontab, and we know it works because closed auctions disappear.\ \ Regards,

Dutch items anyway email to sellers will not be processed unless the auction ends and prcoessed, single items buy now does.

Hi:\ \ I should have said this in the first place that I am talking about Buy Now case. All emails are sent except for the email to the seller when an an item is sold via Buy Now. Where do you think the problem may be?\ \ Thank you,

Re test single item and dutch item and see if you received emails or not after your processed the auctions.

Hi mewsoft:\ \ Seller recieves email only after closing. But this is not appropriate for Buy Now case which we are using. For instance if an item closes in 30 days and a buyer buys one item on the first day, then he has to wait 29 days for seller to find out. Is there a way around this problem?\ \ Thanks in advance,

That's the way all dutch auctions work, the only way is custom work which may cost you much.

One of my users bought an Item with buy it now, there were 9 more objects in the auction, the auction still continues for 28 days. So the buyer must wait for 28 days to close this deal. that is not right, he should be able to close this deal directly

Hi enetics and sabachi,
its not just the emails the sellers "sold List" doesnt update until the auction end either.
Its been raised before, you`ll have to get it coded manually into the script via custom work or other, if you want this feature that all other sites have.

It is the right way for Dutch auctions to work - but not the right way for Dutch Buy It Nows, but you cant manipulate the script theres no work round, you will have to get it programmed in, or remove the option from the sell template for Buy it Now dutch auctions.
